Claudio Brandao

Claudio has served as a Managing Director in IHS Chemical Consulting group since 2017 and is based in the Dubai office. He has over 25 years of experience in the specialty chemicals field and over 13 years’ experience living and working in the Middle East, having held multiple positions in operations, quality control lab, R&D, marketing and sales, business management and strategy areas in major chemical companies.

Claudio is well experienced in specialties and chemical intermediates for the Fertilizers, Paints, Plastics, Personal Care, Water Treatment and Oil & Gas industries. He has led bespoke strategic projects, market studies, feasibility studies and special reports in the chemical downstream arena for Ministries, semi-Government entities and private companies alike in the GCC region. He specializes in P&L management, marketing, sales, procurement, corporate strategy and supply chain.
