Wafaa ALSAFFAR is a dedicated Sustainability Advocate with a profound mission to foster a more sustainable and eco-friendly world. Possessing over 14 years of extensive experience, she is deeply committed to environmental stewardship, firmly believing that even the smallest actions can yield monumental changes.

Hailing from Qatar, a region that has instilled in her a profound appreciation for the natural world and a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by arid environments. Wafaa embarked on her journey in sustainability at TOTAL Energies, where she spearheaded the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department and led a variety of impactful environmental and social projects. Her pursuit of excellence in sustainability led her to attain a Master’s degree in Sustainability from the prestigious Nottingham University in the United Kingdom. In 2021, she assumed the role of Sustainability Director at Baladna.

Throughout her distinguished career, Wafaa has had the privilege of collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various sectors. She has been at the forefront of both leadership and collaborative efforts in numerous pioneering sustainable projects, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change.
