Tim is a chemical engineer and economist by training, and worked at the Kynoch nitrogen fertilizer factory in South Africa, then as a process engineer at KBR’s ammonia technology division in London. He then moved to become a fertilizer analyst, covering urea market forecast services and fertilizer plant production cost assessments, before founding Integer Research in 2003 in fertilizer analytics services. Integer was acquired by Argus Media in 2018. Tim now manages the agriculture and fertilizer sectors at Argus, which include grains and fertilizer price benchmarks, market supply and demand data, and price forecasts.
