Omar has over 16 years of strategy, Business development, M&A, commercial and marketing experience.
He has extensive exposure to International and multi-cultural environments including Asia, Latin America, Africa and north America.
He joined Ma’aden in 2014 where he supported the marketing strategy elaboration and execution and successful penetration of new geographies including Africa and Latin America, development of new products as well as identification and execution of partnerships and inorganic options.
Omar is leading the M&A initiatives within Maaden and he served as board member of the first Maaden international subsidiary (meridian present in 5 countries in Africa) as well as Maaden Aluminum company.
Before joining Ma’aden, Omar had leading positions in Accenture, OCP and Shell.
Omar is married and father for two children
